As of October 1st 2008 all Landlords of residential properties to be let will be required to provide an Energy Performance Certificate for prospective tenants. Landlords will be familiar with the requirement to produce the Landlords Gas Safety Certificate annually, however the Landlords EPC will be valid for ten years.
